5421 3 Oct Saddleworth (instead of Lakes Festival, owing to Covid-19 lockdown) NE This day was the record wettest day in the UK, raining from south of England to the north of Scotland, with average rainfall of 31 mm.

The Saddleworth walk was 8 m: Old Bell Inn, Platt Lane, Lark Hill Road and Harrop Edge, Bleak Hey Nook, Millstone Edge, Diggle, Boat Lane, Brun Clough, Dobcross, Delph because weather was terrible. Would have been Broadhead Noddle, Heights Church, Delph.
